CONSTRUCTION WORK COMMENCE ON BENIN-ASABA DUAL CARRIAGE WAY TWENTY KILOMETERS TO BE COMPLETED BY DECEMBER

Edo State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo  has  undertaken a comprehensive inspection tour of critical infrastructure projects across Benin City, the State Capital, and declared them as tangible fruits of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda. During the inspection, Mr. K. V. Rao, Project Director for Africa Plus Partners and the Benin-Asaba Expressway Concession Company Limited, said about 20 kilometers of the dual-carriage 10 lane expressway, are projected to be completed before the Christmas of 2025. Governor Okpebholo's inspection highlighted the monumental expansion of the Benin-Asaba expressway, the reconstruction of Amufi Road, and the ongoing flyover construction at Ramat Park, all poised to redefine connectivity and economic vibrancy in the region. EDO STATE GOVERNMENT TO PRIORITIZE, SUSTAIN FAMILY PLANNING INTERVENTION.

. BY OSARIEMEN IDIAGHE  Edo State Government has assured of its commitment to sustain and expand the Family Planning interventions to reduce maternal mortality and morning. This assurance was given by the Honorable Commissioner for Health, Dr Cyril Oshiomhole at a stakeholders meeting on Sustaining Family Planning Interventions. The meeting which held in Benin City was between the Edo State Government in partnership with The Challenge Initiative (TCI). PARENTS OF NEWBORN SOLICIT FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Parents of a new born baby, Mr and Mrs Saviour Sunday, who hail from Oruk Anam LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA of AKWA IBOM State, has called on well meaning Nigerians for financial assistance to discharge their newborn baby boy from St. Philomena Hospital in Benin City.  The baby, born prematurely on May 29, has been receiving treatment at the hospital and is currently in a stable condition. However, the couple is struggling to pay the outstanding bill of N1.4 million. The baby was born at a midwife center and was quickly referred to Modic Children Specialist Hospital due to breathing difficulties.  After paying N18,000 for oxygen treatment, the couple was referred to Medvic Hospital, where they were asked to make an instant deposit  of N850,000. There after pay the sum N 118,000 per day till his discharge.
