Senator Neda Imasuen Flags Off Irohkin–Abudu Road Project, Pledges More Rural Development
It was jubilation in Orhionmwon Local Government Area on Monday as the Senator representing Edo South, Neda Imasuen, officially flagged off the construction of the two-kilometre Irohkin–Abudu road linking Evbomede 1 and 2 and Iguiya communities in Orhionmwon local government area of Edo State. The project, expected to be completed by December 2025, is designed to ease transportation, enhance access to markets, and boost economic activities in the agrarian community. Speaking at the ground-breaking, Senator Imasuen, who chairs the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, said the road was a deliberate intervention to tackle rural neglect.
