 *GOV OKPEBHOLO CONDEMNS OVIA, OKPEKPE KILLINGS,* *ORDERS DEPLOYMENT OF MORE SECURITY AGENTS*  Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has condemned  in strong terms the recent attacks on seven farming communities in Ovia-South West Local Government Area, which resulted in the death of 22 lives and widespread destruction of property.  The Governor has also denounced the killing of two farmers, Batemue Philip Ebo and Christopher Bello, in Okpekpe community, Etsako East Local Government Area, by suspected herdsmen. The devastating attack on seven farming communities in Ovia South West, which left 22 people dead, and several others injured were reportedly carried out by militants.  *Coordinator Office of The First Lady Urge Edo NAWOJ to be Professional in their Reportage By Joy Ebuanekpe   – The Coordinator, Office of the First Lady of Edo State, Mrs. Edesili Okpebolo Anani, has urged  members of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Edo State Chapter, to always abide by the ethics of their profession and be professional in their Reportage. She gave the advice when she joined NAWOJ, Edo State chapter in it's annual Thanksgiving service which held at the Central Baptist Church in Benin City. The Thanksgiving service was dedicated to appreciating God for protecting Edo State NAWOJ members throughout 2024 and for the success of the association’s activities during the year.
