Senator Ikpea Harps on LG Autonomy as Foundation for Development
The senator representing Edo Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Joseph Ikpea, has urged chairmanship candidates that would be elected as chairmen of local government areas in Edo State in the July 11 election to explore the full autonomy they now enjoy to bring development to the people. Senator Ikpea who gave the advice at the All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo Central Senatorial District campaign flag-off for the forthcoming local government election in Edo state also called on the incoming chairmen to be prudent with the local government financial resources to avoid incurring the wrath of the anti- graft agencies.
