Edo LG Election:Free, Fair and Peaceful: Prince Atsheleghe

  The Local Government elections held across the 18 local government areas of Edo state has been described as free, fair and very peaceful.



This assertion was made by the Iyasere of Warri kingdom, Prince Johnson Atsheleghe at ward 10, Ikpoba-Okha in Ologbo during the local government elections on Saturday



The election  witnessed large turn out of voters and early arrival of voting materials despite the heavy early morning down pour. 



Prince Johnson Atsheleghe praised the EDSIEC for a organizing a violent free election.



According to him " The election was peaceful, free and fair, devoid of violence that sometimes characterize elections. The people came out in their large numbers to cast their votes for PDP because ward 10 unit 13 is dominated by PDP supporters.
