Edo State to Host Prayer Conference for National Peace and Restoration

As part of efforts to seek divine intervention in Nigeria's growing security challenges, economic instability, and rising violent crimes, Canaanland Deliverance Ministry International will host the Edo State Prayer Conference on Friday, August 14, 2026, in Benin City from 9am to 2pm.


The conference, which is expected to attract thousands of worshippers, religious leaders, and residents from across Edo State and beyond, is being organised under the leadership of the ministry's presiding Bishop,

Apostle Silver Wealth Iyamu.


According to Apostle Silver Wealth Iyamu, the prayer conference is aimed at uniting people from all walks of life to seek God's intervention for lasting peace, security, economic recovery, and national transformation. They noted that the event comes at a time when many Nigerians are concerned about insecurity, economic tension, inflation, and other social challenges affecting communities across the country.


Apostle Iyamu urged Christians, community leaders, youths, and families to participate actively in the conference, expressing confidence that fervent prayers can inspire hope, strengthen unity, and contribute to positive change in the nation.


To ensure that transportation does not prevent anyone from attending, the ministry announced that free transportation will be provided to and from the conference venue for all participants.


The organisers encouraged members of the public to take advantage of the opportunity to join believers in praying for Edo State and Nigeria, expressing hope that the gathering would usher in renewed faith, peace, and progress for the nation.

 NUJ Federated Chapel holds Annual Lecture, Federated Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ)  Edo State Council has announced  to hold its 2023 Annual Lecture on 28th September 2023 at the Edo NUJ Event hall.
